Mechanical Maintenance III - Engineering Department (20182434)

The Mechanical Maintenance III will be a self-motivated, self-reliant individual required to receive instruction and install, repair, inspect, and generally maintain safe and efficient operation of various types of mechanical systems to include, but not limited too: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electrical, building automation systems, medical air and gas systems, fire protection systems, pneumatic tube systems, nurse call systems, including all equipment controls and fixtures. A successful candidate also, maintains safe operation of other devices such as: wheel chairs, beds, stretchers, food service equipment, laundry equipment, etc. Possesses a minimal knowledge of life safety regulations in a effort to maintain facility walls and doors. This individual may be required to coordinate other trades, contractors and services.
Work Schedule
Full-time; 80 hours biweekly as scheduled
Skills Required
Candidate must have a High school diploma or equivalent (GED) while one year of trade or technical school is preferred. Due to insurance regulations, must be at least 21 years of age with a valid SC driver's license to operate a McLeod vehicle. Must also have a Universal EPA Approved Refrigerant Certification. One of the following is preferred: South Carolina State Journeymen (HARV) Certification; City of Florence Journeymen (HARV) Certification; and/or Power Engineers License, Second Class.
Experience Required
Candidate must have eight or more years of related work experience depending on educational level. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of engineering and/or plant maintenance preferred.
Work Schedule
Full-time, 80 hrs bi-weekly; Monday - Friday 7am-4pm. On call once every 4 weeks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
