Quality Coordinator - Clinical Effectiveness Department (20190193)

1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
2. Collects, organizes, and analyzes clinical and financial data in support of clinical process improvement initiatives to determine most significant opportunities in areas such as hospital-acquired conditions, readmission rates and postop complications.
3. Coordinates effectively with members of health care team to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines, regulatory agencies, and organizational standards.
4. Facilitates interdisciplinary teams utilizing Problem Solving Process (PSP) in conjunction with the AVP of Quality and Safety to include the selection of committee members, evaluation and distribution of evidence-based clinical literature and coordination of meeting times and dates.
5. Formulates the implementation and education plan of the Quality Improvement initiatives to include education of nurses, staff and physicians, policy changes and equipment needs. Assesses the need for changes and improvements to plan.
6. Formulates, implements and coordinates presentation strategies with physician presenter in conjunction with the AVP of Quality and Safety.
7. Performs patient care outcome monitoring to include tracking outcomes from assigned improvement initiatives and dissemination of the outcomes.
8. Facilitates the development and management of evidence-based pre-printed and computerized physician orders.
9. Participates in the scope of service of Quality and Safety division as it relates to risk management and quality improvement activities including improve the process reviews.
10. Utilizes a collaborative interdisciplinary approach to conduct root cause analysis of adverse events and development of correction plans.
11. Supports the Medical Staff in Quality and Risk Management activities and provides clinical expertise in support of the Risk Manager. Performs all other duties as directed.
Qualifications/Education/Training:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, or healthcare related field.
1 or more years of experience in Quality Improvement work
3-5 years progressive clinical experience required
Knowledge and experience in areas of patient care practices, adult education, communication, and program administration
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 80 hrs bi-weekly; Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
